Emily Yurkevicz (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist from Brattleboro, Vermont whose work has been exhibited and published both domestically and internationally. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Fibers + Mixed Media at Alfred University.

Through her work, she investigates process, repetition, lifespans, queer and gendered labor and material storytelling. Her work ranges across a variety of mediums from traditional fiber techniques to sculptural casting and woodworking. Her works are primarily large scale, site-specific installations which are comprised of amassed precious objects creating tension between weight, negative space, and the layered identities of memory.
